The tomatoes are in.

For about ten days a year the Dry Creek Early Girls come off the vine sun-warm, and they are on the line right now. We have been waiting since July.

Hello {{ first_name|default:'friend' }},

The box showed up Tuesday from Ira's farm and the whole kitchen stopped for a minute. Heirloom tomato salad with torn basil and aged sherry vinegar is back on the menu, the grilled swordfish comes over a tomato-and-corn panzanella, and the stone fruit galette moved to peach because the first Elbertas are in.

The menu turns with what the farms send. If you want the tomatoes, come this week. They do not keep.
